The Blue Star Brewing Company participates in one of San Antonio's on-going premiere events: Southtown's First Friday. Central to our monthly celebration is our "Live from the Deck" concerts featuring some of the area's finest contemporary bands, including:

Music starts at 7pm and ends at 11pm

High energy Blues Rocker Catherine Denise brings her show to the Blue Star Brewing Company. The San Antonio based artist was recently inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame. Catherine constantly tours and performs at venues across the United States. In 2005 Catherine placed 2nd in the nationwide Blues Icon Competition. Her debut CD, “Treat Me Like A Lady”, included Double Trouble’s Chris Layton and Tommy Shannon.
